PUNTERS can enjoy a pint costing 99p in a January sale at six Wetherspoons pubs in Bradford and surrounding areas.

Managers at The Myrtle Grove in Bingley, The Turls Green in Centenary Square, Bradford, The Obediah Brooke in Cleckheaton, the Sir Norman Rae in Shipley, The Lister Arms in Ilkley and The Bowling Green in Otley, are reducing the price of a range of drinks and meals from Tuesday, January 3, until Tuesday, January 17.

The drinks featured in the sale include some draught beers and ciders, spirits, a range of soft drinks, Lavazza coffee, tea and hot chocolate, and some low and alcohol-free drinks.

A pint of Ruddles Best will only cost 99p, which will cost the same as a Bell's whisky (25ml measure with mixer), a bottle of Beck's Blue alcohol-free lager, a 14oz Pepsi Max and Lavazza coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Drinks such as Bud Light and Stowford Press Apple Cider will cost £1.69 a pint.

Customers can also save on food, with offers on three breakfast items (MOMA porridge, breakfast muffin deal and breakfast wrap deal), a selection of 3oz burger deals and three for £12 small plate deals.

The Turls Green manager, Nicki Hanson, said: "Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pub too.

"The range of drinks and food on sale in the pub is aimed a suiting a wide variety of tastes.

"I believe that the January sale will prove popular with our customers."
