POLICE have urged people to be vigilant after they found packets of cannabis edibles in a vehicle.
Officers were in Halifax over the weekend and stopped a driver who possessed the items.
A male was reported for summons for possession of drugs.
Police said most people do not realise the damage the edibles can cause.
A post on West Yorkshire Police - Halifax's Facebook page read: "As part of Op Heelfield yesterday (Saturday) officers stop and searched a vehicle and found the attached cannabis edibles on a male.
"He was reported for summons for possession of drugs.
"Please be vigilant if you see these, they can contain dangerous amounts of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) and people sometimes do not realise the danger of consuming these items."
