Drivers on the M62 faced nine mile long queues at the height of rush hour traffic this morning.
The tailbacks were sparked by an earlier crash on the M62 Westbound from J23 A640 New Hey Road (Huddersfield) to J22 A672 (Rishworth Moor).
All lanes have since reopened but traffic stretched all the way to J24 (Ainley Top).
Travel time on the M62 was around 90 minutes at the height of the delays, the T&A's traffic partner INRIX said.
