AN inquest into the death of Bradford bus driver Asghar Badshah has been further delayed.

A hearing was held at Bradford Coroners' Coroners' Court to discuss the case.

Assistant coroner Angela Brocklehurst said she was prepared to continue the suspension of the inquest, but this would be reviewed again next month.

Speaking at the brief hearing held on December 1, she said: “This is a homicide death. We don’t have any information as to when the trial will conclude.

“I am prepared to continue the suspension of this inquest.”

Mr Badshah’s body was found in a former bank in Commercial Street, Batley, in December 2019.

This was almost a month after the 39-year-old went missing from Mayo Road in Bradford.
