Woolpack studios choir celebrated 10 years at Otley courthouse along with Otley Rock Orchestra in November.

For their tenth anniversary, the choir rehearsed and performed a concert at Otley courthouse using 10 of specially selected songs they had previously performed. Meeting once a week, the choir spent a few hours practicing for the show and were excited to perform. Richard Sabey and Jennifer Pugh lead the choir for the 10 years it has been going on and chose all the 10 songs performed. The songs were highly varied going from pop to rock and the audience seemed to enjoy the diversification.

Otley Rock Orchestra helped to evince the excitement by performing as the supporting act with their upbeat music, including instruments such as the violin and the clarinet which were all played in sync spectacularly. After the grandiose performance, the choir made its way onto stage and played a video clip of all the memories which brought a nostalgic feel to the room as everyone including the audience recalled all the clearly memorable moments on the screen.

After the incredible performance by the choir, the audience exploded into applause and there was not one single sad face in the room. The choir bowed and left the stage after a fabulous surprise encore to end the night. Well done to Otley choir and happy 10th anniversary!
