PEOPLE can step into Narnia at a fundraising Christmas tree festival held in a Bradford church.

St James Church, Thornton Road, Thornton, is holding its annual Christmas tree festival from Saturday, November 26 to Saturday, December 3.

Based on the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, visitors will enter the world of Narnia to a display of more than 50 decorated trees within the setting of the church, which will be fully illuminated.

Each tree is decorated by a local, national or international charity.

The event, now in its ninth year, has become popular with more than 3,000 visitors last year and last year we raised more than £6,000 for local groups and charities.

Other activities include a Santa’s Grotto, a shop for Christmas gifts and a café.
