Police have taken a nuisance motorbiker off the roads after receiving community intelligence.

West Yorkshire Police’s Bradford South NPT recovered the bike from the Woodside area as part of Operation Steerside.

Operation Steerside was launched in 2016 specifically to tackle dangerous and anti-social driving in Bradford and evolved two years later into a multi-agency partnership to work proactively on illegal use of the roads.

Speaking previously, Chief Superintendent Dan Greenwood, Bradford District Commander, said: “We remain committed to proactively tackling anti-social use of the roads and work closely with our partner agencies to ensure that the roads in the Bradford District are safe to use for those living, working and visiting the city.”
