A POLICE dog sniffed out "well hidden" drugs and cash after a vehicle stop.

PC Claire Gray, a Roads Policing Officer with West Yorkshire Police, posted on Twitter yesterday about the job she had been on with her team.

They were out on Sunday night when officers stopped a black Volkswagen for a routine check.

The team were supported by police dog Roost, who found a quantity of drugs and money in cash.

Police seized the items and also arrested one person.

PC Gray said: "Without our Roost we would not have located this and drugs which were well hidden.

"One in custody and one happy RPU team and happy doggy with his ball."
