Nissan Juke owner found stolen car in Heckmondwike

THE OWNER of a stolen vehicle found it parked up in a communal car park.

A man had his yellow Nissan Juke stolen from him and then spotted it two days later.

It was sat in communal car park, off Church Lane, in Heckmondwike.

Police attended and helped the owner with the recovery of the vehicle.

Officers have launched an investigation and are continuing to try find the suspect.

The Batley and Spen community also helped Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) officers in seizing a black BMW yesterday.

The team spotted the car on Church Lane, in Gomersal and after a short chase it was found abandoned in the Fieldhead Estate.

Officers seized the vehicle.
