A MAN has been fined for speeding on a major Bradford district road.

Ryan Windass, 35, of Anlaby Park Road South, Hull, faced one charge of exceeding 50mph speed limit in contravention of a local traffic order – manned equipment.

He was clocked driving at 70mph in a 50mph zone on Sir Fred Hoyle Way, Bingley, which is otherwise known as Bingley Bypass.

The offence took place on June 13, 2022.

Windass was handed five driving licence points for the offence and was also fined £346 and ordered to pay £90 costs and a £35 victim surcharge.

Windass was sentenced via the single justice procedure hearing and he pleaded guilty for the charge. He was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on November 3, 2022.
