Bradford City are working alongside Mansfield Town and Nottinghamshire Police, after the use of multiple pyrotechnic devices during Tuesday’s trip the One Call Stadium.
Throughout the game, several flares were deployed, with some thrown from the City end onto the field.
The club is seeking witnesses to help identify those responsible, who will face an indefinite suspension for all Bradford City fixtures, as will anyone connected to the incident, or trying to conceal it.
City could now be subject to sanctions from the footballing authorities, as a result of Tuesday’s incidents, and would like to reiterate its condemnation of the use of pyrotechnics.
