POLICE swooped on a Bradford village today following reports of an armed robbery.
Officers were scrambled to a bookmakers on Market Street in Thornton just before 11am.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Two males wearing balaclavas entered the shop and demanded cash.
"They stole the cash drawer and left on foot in the direction of Town Street.
"No one was injured in the robbery."
A scene has been in place while an investigation gets underway.
