A WOMAN has appeared in court for a spate of thefts at shops in Bradford city centre.
Donna Rogers, 48, of Great Horton Road, Bradford, was handed a community order for a number of theft from a shop charges.
In the first, she stole perfumes and a make-up set, worth £62, from Next at Forster Square, Bradford, on September 30, 2022. She was also ordered to pay a £114 victim surcharge. An application was made for benefit deductions by the court.
In the second charge, she stole teddy bears, to the value of £10, from The Works, The Broadway, Bradford, on August 8, 2022.
Rogers also stole colouring items, to the value of £90, from The Works, The Broadway, Bradford, on August 6, 2022.
She was also convicted of a charge of failing to surrender to police/court bail at the appointed time, at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court, on September 28, 2022.
The community order imposed on Rogers for the offences also included a rehabilitation activity requirement.
She was also re-sentenced for a number of previous theft from a shop offences.
Rogers pleaded guilty to all of the charges and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on October 31, 2022.
