A MAN appeared in court after damaging a cell at a Bradford police station.
Shane Paterson, 58, of no fixed address, appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ court to face one charge of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
According to court documents, the offence was committed on September 20 at Trafalgar House Police Station on Nelson Street.
Paterson caused damage worth £25.83, the court documents state.
He pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced on November 1.
Paterson was fined £50 and was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £114 to fund victim services.
His guilty plea was taken into account in sentencing.
The balance of £164 will be paid at a rate of £20 per month, commencing on November 29.
