A MAN has been seriously injured after falling from a building.

West Yorkshire Police was called to premises off Cawcliffe Road, in Brighouse at 1.15pm this afternoon.

Officers went to the scene where the ambulance service had called them to.

The man had reportedly fallen "from height" at the building and suffered serious injuries.

He was rushed to hospital for further treatment.

Footage shows the Yorkshire Air Ambulance helicopter landing at the nearby fields of Ravensprings Park.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 1.15pm, police were called by the ambulance service to a report of a man who had suffered serious injuries after a fall from height at a premises off Cawcliffe Road, Brighouse.

"The injured man was taken to hospital for further treatment."
