A MAJOR footwear retailer has revealed when it is set to open a new store at a Bradford shopping centre.
American footwear brand Skechers will open a shop at The Broadway on Friday, November 18 and will create 15 new jobs.
Skechers has signed a lease for a 3,500 sq ft unit located in the Eastbrook mall. The new store will be the first Skechers in Bradford and its third store in West Yorkshire.
Ian Ward, general manager at The Broadway, said: “I’m delighted to announce the new Skechers lease following the recent opening of Lids.
“There is a huge appetite for American fashion in the city and I’m confident Skechers will be a popular addition to the retailers currently at the centre.
The Bradford retail scene is transforming and developing around the city.”
Skechers, The Comfort Technology Company, retails a wide selection of footwear and apparel for men, women, and children. The brand offers casual, athletic and fashion trends as well as sandals and boots.
Skechers is the latest major retail name to sign up for a store at The Broadway.
International sports retailer Lids opened a new store at the centre in September, offering a range of US sports goods.
