A WORKER at a Co-op store was injured in a raid on the store.
Police were called to the scene, on Broomhill Avenue in Keighley, at 8.15pm on Saturday.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said a male suspect, who was armed with a weapon, went into the store and threatened staff.
He escaped with some cash from the till.
Staff member injured and police scene still in place
The spokesperson confirmed that a member of staff was injured, but their injuries are not life-threatening.
A scene is still in place at the store this morning. Police have not yet made any arrests in connection with the incident.
