Bradford Council, the emergency services and representatives from Bradford Community Housing Trust have been in Fairweather Green to listen to people's concerns about the area.
The day of action was organised by the Council and the Fairweather Green Action Group. They knocked on 1,000 doors asking residents to complete a survey to identify their individual issues.
Action group chairman David Spencer said: "The idea was to bring everybody together. It was very successful and people were really supportive. It's the first time we've done this. We've been able to identify areas of fly tipping and the appropriate council departments have been informed."
