A BRADFORD woman has been ordered to pay a hefty sum of over £2,000 for failing to have a covid test on her and her child’s return to England.
Rihana Kausar, 38, of Springfield Avenue, Great Horton, Bradford, arrived at Manchester Airport from her holiday on February 23, 2021, without having a covid test for herself and her child.
At Greater Manchester Magistrates’ Court on October 31, Kausar was fined £1760 for failing to have a test for her child, a fine of £850 for her own test, To pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £190.00 and costs of £90.
In total she was ordered to pay £2890, which must be paid by November 28, 2022.
