Between 6pm to 6:30pm on Wednesday, three suspects were spotted approaching a detached dwelling on Jacobs Croft, Clayton.
The trio approached the rear of the property and made their way into the garden over a fence.
They then smashed the rear patio glass doors to gain entry.
