A MAN who was in possession of two snap bags of cocaine at a football match between Leeds United and Crystal Palace has been fined.
Elliot Briggs, 22, of Wood Grove, Skipton, pleaded guilty to one charge of being in possession of a class A drug at Crystal Palace FC's ground, Selhurst Park, on October 9 this year.
The venue was a home premier league game between Crystal Palace and Leeds United which the Selhurst Park side won 2-1.
Briggs was present at Croydon Magistrates' Court on October 26 to answer the charge and was fined £200. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £80.
A forfeiture and destruction order was made for the drugs.
