Discounted tickets for Bradford's stunning Van Gogh Alive exhibition will open the experience up to more people, organisers say.
The immersive, multi-sensory exhibition has brought Vincent Van Gogh’s artwork to life at Regency Hall.
Visit Bradford is offering a limited number of discounted standard adult tickets until January 8, 2023.
The discount knocks £11 off tickets for anyone with a Bradford postcode.
A spokesperson for Van Gogh Alive said: “We’ve had a fantastic response to Van Gogh Alive at The Regency Hall.
"We always try and keep our ticket prices as competitive as possible, and have also been working with the Council, community groups and schools across to Bradford to ensure people across the district can take advantage of the experience being here in Bradford.
"A limited number of discounted tickets for adult visitors with a Bradford postcode are available.
"The discount can be applied to adult tickets by inputting the first part of the visitor's postcode during the checkout process. Please note that proof of address will be required upon entry."
It comes after some families in Bradford shared concerns about the exhibition’s pricing.
Rachael Richmond-George said: “I wish the children's tickets were a bit cheaper for this especially with the times ahead. I would love my kids to see and experience this but for all of us it's a bit too expensive.”
Tire Aldridge said: “Over £70 for a family ticket once booking fee included! Ouch. Looks amazing.”
Councillor Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council’s executive member for healthy people and places, said: “We’re delighted that this fabulous exhibition is getting such great reception in Bradford.
“We have been working with the team behind Van Gogh Alive from the start to ensure as many people from across the district as possible can benefit from this exhibition being on their doorstep.
“We’d encourage people to take advantage of the discount quickly as there are a limited number of discounted ticket available.”
Discount code for Van Gogh Alive tickets
To use the discount code, visit vangoghaliveuk.com and enter the first part of your Bradford district postcode in the promo code box.
Visitors will need to book a time slot for their arrival but can stay as long as they wish.
For example, by putting 'BD12' in the discount box, a standard adult ticket worth £22.50 is reduced to £11.50.
“There are a limited number of the discounted tickets available so book soon,” a spokesperson for Bradford Council said.
