FLOOD alerts are in place for parts of the Bradford district amid a period of expected heavy rainfall.
A flood alert has been issued by the Environment Agency for the Upper River Aire Catchment Area, and some of the most at-risk areas include the stretch of the river from Gargrave to Stockbridge, including Eshton Beck, Eller Beck and Silsden Beck.
The Met Office has also issued a weather warning for rain for tonight and tomorrow.
The GOV.UK website said “heavy, persistent showers overnight” are expected to cause river levels to rise.
“We currently expect rivers to peak in the early hours of Tuesday morning,” it added.
“Please be aware that localised surface water flooding is possible. We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this alert if necessary.”
