ALL lanes on part of a motorway were closed this afternoon due to animals on the carriageway.
The M62 was shut in both directions, between junction 22 (Rishworth Moor) and junction 23 (Huddersfield), this afternoon.
Some wildlife had wandered onto the road and this led to all traffic being held.
Lanes were reopened at 1.40pm but traffic is still queueing.
