THE Bradford district is home to many spooky pubs. With Halloween approaching, we’re taking a look at some of them - said to be haunted by everything from a phantom cat-feeder to a a giggling spirit.

There's the giggling spirit said to haunt the Old White Horse, one of Bingley’s oldest pubs, and the cheeky spirit once said to grope staff at the Harp of Erin pub in Bradford...

Then there's the ghost of a man in a flat cap thought to haunt the Cricketers Arms in Keighley, and the sound of moving chains at the Grosvenor Hotel in Ivegate.

The ghostly figure of a woman has been seen near the cellar door at the White Swan in Idle, and the Old White Lion in Haworth is said to be haunted by parachutist Lily Cove, who died after her parachute failed in 1906.

The ghost of Branwell Bronte returns to the Black Bull in Haworth, where he was once a regular, and a mischievous resident ghost at the Dog and Gun at Oxenhope apparently has a taste for playing Julio Iglesias songs at top volume...
