A DOG killed a deer on a Bradford road yesterday evening.
Police were called to Hollingwood Lane in Great Horton on Sunday to reports of the attack, which occurred at around 8.30pm.
A vet put the deer to sleep due to the extent of the animal's injuries.
Yesterday a police spokesperson said: "Officers have this evening been called to a dog-on-deer attack on Hollingwood Lane, Great Horton.
"Between 8.20 and 8.30pm, a dog attacked a deer on Hollingwood Lane.
"The extent of the injuries were such that a vet had to put the deer to sleep.
"Officers are appealing for witnesses or any information regarding the offence.
