A VEGAN café and yoga studio in a Bradford district village has been dubbed as a hub of wellness for residents.

Holding Space, based on John Street, Saltaire, includes the Dandelion Café and Heather Yoga studio.

It also has a therapy room which is used by a host of different groups for activities including acupuncture. Its rooms are also used for events and classes.

Holding Space is located in a converted Victorian warehouse building behind the new Tesco Express convenience store located between Shipley and Saltaire.

Heather Yoga runs online and in-person classes every day apart from Christmas Day. The studio stages a pay-as-you-feel community yoga class every Thursday at 10.45am.

Heather Gregg, owner and founder of Heather Yoga, said: “Dan and I set it up together. We found the building and took it and renovated it.

“There is always such a great vibe in the space when people are in.

“The centre brings people in far and wide. It brings people to the area for what we offer.

“We want to spread the word about it. It is an amazing space that we created. It is a great addition to the Saltaire community and all of the attractions.

“It is a hub of wellness. The building was dishevelled and we transformed it when we took over in 2018.

“We have successfully navigated the pandemic. It is great that people are back in the space.”
