A MAN was spared an immediate jail sentence after he caught with a hunting knife on a Bradford street.
Callum Connor Robinson, 22, of Nunberry House, Laisterdyke, appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court to be sentenced.
He was charged with the possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
Robinson was caught with the hunting knife on Fearnville Drive, Laisterdyke, on February 1 this year.
He initially denied the offence, then changed his plea to guilty on July 11.
On October 19, Robinson was given a five-month prison sentence which was suspended for 12 months.
He must carry out rehabilitation activity requirement.
The court ordered him to pay a £128 surcharge and costs of £85. The hunting knife will be destroyed.
