Rush hour queues are building on the M62 amid continued traffic chaos.

The M62 has been plagued by serious delays in recent weeks, even driving some motorists to illegally use the hard shoulder.

The M62 Eastbound and sections of the M606 were affected by standstill queues as early as 7am today.

Here's a round up of the latest traffic alerts for the M62 on Thursday morning.

M62 and M621 delays

There is slow traffic on M62 Eastbound from J26 M606 J1 (Chain Bar) to J27 M621 (Gildersome) - largely in the construction area.
