TWO more men are to appear before Bradford Crown Court accused of ill-treatment at a Bradford care home for people with learning disabilities.

The men were care workers at Cranbourne House, on Cranbourne Road, Daisy Hill, and the incidents are alleged to have happened between July 1, 2020, and October 27, 2020, against four men who lived at the home.

Armaan Khan, 22, of Lytton Road, Girlington, appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on October 4 after a warrant was initially issued.

It was withdrawn later in the afternoon. He faced four charges of ill-treatment/wilful neglect against four different men, all of which he denied.

Khan will appear before Bradford Crown Court on November 1.

Qumar Rafiq, 49, of Bolton Lane, Bradford, appeared before magistrates on October 12. He faced a single charge of ill-treatment/wilful neglect against one man.

He will appear before the crown court on November 9.

As previously reported by the Telegraph & Argus, Mohammed Abdul-Rehman, 32, of Owlet Road, Shipley, appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on the morning of October 4 accused of the ill-treatment/wilful neglect of two men.

He denied the two offences and will appear at crown court on November 1.
