A BRADFORD man threatened violence to a person who he was banned from contacting.
Harjit Singh, 37, of Ashbourne Oval, pleaded guilty to breaching a non-molestation order at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court on August 22.
He was sentenced to a community order at Kirklees Magistrates' Court last Tuesday.
Singh directly contacted and also threatened violence to an individual he was banned from getting in touch with.
This was due to a non-molestation order that was made by Bradford Family Court last year.
Non-molestation orders are similar to restraining orders.
The 37-year-old must complete up to 15 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement days by October 10 next year, as part of the community order.
Singh was also ordered to pay the court £180 in total for the offence.
