A 23-YEAR-old man has been jailed after damaging a Volvo on a street in Bradford.
Cynnan Jones appeared before Leeds Magistrates’ Court on Friday, October 14, where he pleaded guilty to criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
The charges relate to an incident on April 2 this year, at Lower School Street in Bradford, where he damaged a Volvo V40 to an unknown value.
He either intended to destroy or damage the property, or was reckless as to whether it would be.
Jones had earlier pleaded not guilty to the offence, but changed his plea at the latest hearing. He was jailed for eight weeks.
Court documents show this was because the offence was so serious due being aggravated by his previous offending.
Jones, of Turnshaws Avenue, Kirkburton, was also ordered to pay a £128 surcharge to fund victim services.
