A WELL-known Bradford restaurant is to close its doors for good.

The 3 Singhs has been a popular fixture on Sticker Lane, Laisterdyke, for many years.

But in a statement on Facebook this afternoon, its permanent closure was announced.

The post said the building is undergoing renovation and will be re-opening under the International brand later this year.

“We would like to announce the permanent closing of The 3 Singhs restaurant,” it said.

“We will always be grateful for your loyal custom over the past 18 years.

“We have made this decision in order to spend more time with family at this stage in our lives.

“The 3 Singhs enterprise will continue through the Swaine Green Pub and other renovating projects.

“The building is now undergoing renovation and will be opening under the International (Bradford) brand in late November: we wish them the best of luck in all future endeavours. Jaj and Gibby.”

Back in August 2019, Jaj and Gibby Singh said they had decided to sell the restaurant in order to semi-retire and to expand their property portfolio.

“Having run The 3 Singhs for so long we have had many great memories here and hosted many special occasions,” they said at the time.

"We have developed a great reputation within West Yorkshire, and we thank our customers and hope they have enjoyed the dining experience with us.

"The restaurant has the capacity to increase trade even further and we look forward to engaging with prospective purchasers.”
