A BIG Bradford school has explained why it suddenly had to close yesterday.
Bradford Forster Academy, on Fenby Avenue, announced they had to shut due to “unforeseen circumstances” on Wednesday afternoon.
The secondary school also had to cancel last night's Year 7 Parents' Evening.
This morning, Principal Cath Proud confirmed the school would reopen today after resolving its "plumbing issues".
A statement read: "I would like to reassure parents that the plumbing issues from yesterday are now resolved and all facilities are back in full working order.
"We took immediate action and don't envisage any further problems.
She added: "The Parents' Evening originally scheduled for last night will now take place on Wednesday, October 19.
"Once again, my apologies for any inconvenience."
