A MAN tragically found dead on the roof of a three-storey house in Leeds was last seen more than a week ago, it emerged today (Monday).
Ged Colgan, 32, was officially reported missing from the address in Harehills Avenue in the Chapeltown area of Leeds, last Friday.
However police said was actually last seen on Sunday, October 2.
But sadly his body was found on the roof of the terraced house in the residential area on Sunday afternoon.
It is thought his body had been there since he was reported missing.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said formal identification had not yet taken place but it was believed the body was that of Ged.
The spokesman added: "There were no suspicious circumstances and the Coroners' Office has been notified."
Trainee chef Ged, real name Gerard, originally from Coventry, was reported missing from the house on Friday (October 7) shortly before 8:50pm, police said.
A local Labour MP was among those who appealed for help in finding him.
Alex Sobel, MP for Leeds North West, said on Friday: "He’s not been seen in nearly a week."
