A MAN has been jailed for threatening to damage a number of vehicles in Bradford.
Darren Smith, 46, of Luke Road, Bradford, faced a charge of threatening to damage/destroy property.
The offence took place at Trafalgar House, Nelson Street, Bradford, on September 28, 2022.
He was committed to prison for 16 weeks as the offence was deemed so serious due to Smith’s flagrant disregard for court orders, and because the offence was aggravated by the defendant’s record of previous offending. Smith was also ordered to pay a £154 victim surcharge.
Smith pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on September 29, 2022.
