THE stars were out in force at Cliffe Castle in Keighley on Saturday evening as crowds gathered to support a local event.

Star, honey bee and skeleton lanterns were on display during a star lantern parade through the grounds of Cliffe Castle for Keighley Arts and Film Festival.

"It was a super night," said a member of the Cliffe Castle Support Group. "It’s good to see so many families joining in the parade.

"Cecil Green Arts is such a talented and super group of people who always create fantastic articulated puppets.

"The walking skeletons were so clever but we at Cliffe Castle Support Group were delighted to see the return of the honey bee (lantern) as we work hard to support the pollinators at Cliffe Castle Museum and Park."

A spokesperson for Cecil Green Arts added: "We had a great time star parading tonight in Cliffe Castle for Keighley Arts and Film Festival."
