AN order to increase stop and search powers after an attack on a teenage boy in Leeds has been rescinded.
The Section 60 order brought into areas of Leeds following a serious assault in Chapeltown Road on Friday has been rescinded as of 10:45am today and will no longer run until 8:45pm this evening as originally extended.
The order has been brought in following a serious assault in Chapeltown Road on Friday where a 15-year-old male suffered serious facial and hand injuries.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and are believed to have been caused by a bladed implement.
