Chris Roberts, of Bradford & Bingley Weatherline, brings us the latest of his regular weekend weather forecasts
It's a settled outlook for Friday night into Saturday, but low pressure is set to bring some showers into the mix for Sunday.
So what does the weekend bring?
Saturday
Quite a nice day, with lighter breezes, temperatures around average/slightly below and sunny spells will make it feel quite pleasant in sheltered spots.
Most of us will be dry with just the outside chance of a shower over the Pennines. Temperatures from 8 to 13C with a light to moderate westerly breeze.
Sunday
A very similar day again, but cloud building early in the day - so less in the way of sunshine - and thickening into the evening as a weather front begins to affect the region.
It will be slightly warmer but breezes will increase again, bringing a few sunny spells before it clouds over and rain showers affect us into the night.
Rainfall totals are not expected to be high, but it will be breezy again. Temperatures from 8 to 15C a fresh westerly breeze.
Into next week
A changeable week ahead with broadly settled weather to Wednesday. After this it becomes a little more unsettled and weather fronts will again assert themselves as low pressure dominates.
The possiblity of a very unsettled and even stormy next weekend is featuring at the moment.
