A MAN has appeared in court charged with possession of cocaine in Bradford.
Alexander Walmsley, 28, of Thirkhill Court, Bradford, faced one charge of possession of a controlled drug of class A – cocaine.
He was caught in possession of the class A drug at Huddersfield Road, Bradford, on August 1, 2022. The offence was in contravention of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
Walmsley was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £48 victim surcharge for the offence. A collection order was made at the sentencing hearing and an application was made for benefit deductions.
The cocaine to be forfeited and destroyed by West Yorkshire Police.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on September 21, 2022.
