THE front of a Bradford shop has been destroyed after a truck "deliberately" rammed into it. 

The wall of the Feather Road Mini Mart in Mavis Street has been damaged after a flatbed truck reversed into the store, leaving a huge hole and a pile of bricks outside.

The incident took place at just after 9.10pm yesterday, police confirmed. No-one was injured.

Further investigations are taking place at the site this morning.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Police are investigating after a vehicle crashed into a shop on Mavis Street, Bradford.

“Officers were called at 9.11pm yesterday to reports a flatbed truck had deliberately reversed into the shop causing serious structural damage.

“No-one was injured in the incident.

“A scene remains in place whilst investigations continue and whilst structural engineers assess the damage.

“Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw the flatbed pickup truck prior to the incident to come forward.
