A MAN has appeared in court over an assault in the Bradford district.
Martin Challoner, 43, of Gisburn Road, Barnoldswick, Lancashire, faced a common assault charge.
He was convicted of assaulting another person at Lawkholme Crescent, Keighley, on March 11, 2022.
He was given a community order which includes a 12-week curfew, a drug rehabilitation requirement and a rehabilitation activity requirement.
Challoner was also ordered to pay £310 costs and a £95 victim surcharge for the offence.
He was also convicted for a further charge of failing to surrender to police/court bail at the appointed time. This offence took place at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on May 27, 2022.
Challoner changed his plea to guilty for both offences and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on September 14, 2022.
