FIRST is investigating after one of its buses suffered two broken windows in Bradford earlier this week.
At around 7pm on Monday, a 607 bus was targeted on Thornton Road.
It was reported that a brick – or bricks – were thrown at the bus, although First said no such objects were found inside it following the attack.
First has reported the incident to police.
A spokesperson for First Bradford said: "We can confirm that a single decker bus on the 607 service suffered a breakage to two windows while travelling along Thornton Road in the direction of The Queen's Hotel at around 7pm on 3 October.
"It is unclear what caused the damage as there were no objects inside the bus. The driver stopped to reassure customers and check there were no injuries.
"We will review CCTV footage to try and identify what happened and provide details to the police to assist with any investigation."
