ONE vehicle was stolen and another was broken into in the Queensbury area of Bradford over the weekend.

Police reported that sometime between last Friday and Monday a suspect gained access to a driveway at a property on Harmony Place in Queensbury via a locked gate.

They managed to get into a locked van parked on the driveway, start it and drive it away unseen.

Police also reported between Friday and Monday a car parked on Langport Close, Queensbury, was broken into without causing any damage. A mobile phone was stolen.

A green Mazda car was also stolen between 6pm last Thursday and 7am Monday from outside the owner's address at Cross Roads near Keighley.

Officers from the Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team recovered a stolen vehicle in the Gomersal area.

In late September, after receiving community intelligence, police officers were able to locate and forensically recover a stolen motor vehicle from the Gomersal area.

The vehicle had been stolen earlier in the month during a burglary outside of Kirklees district. Enquiries are ongoing.
