A MAN has been banned from driving after failing to provide a specimen to police.

Mohammed Nadeem, 46, of Middlebrook Way, Fairweather Green, Bradford, faced one charge of failing to provide a specimen for analysis – vehicle driver.

When suspected of having driven a vehicle and having been required to provide a specimen of blood for a laboratory test in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence, Nadeem failed without reasonable excuse, to do so.

The offence took place at Trafalgar House Police Station, Bradford, on March 22, 2022.

Nadeem was disqualified from holding, or obtaining, a driving licence for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £150 costs, fined £120 and a £34 victim surcharge.

Nadeem pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced on September 7, 2022.
