THE PRINCIPAL at a high school in Bradford has reassured the school community that no students were ever unsafe as a situation unfolded in the local area this week.
Tom Taylor, principal at Trinity Academy Bradford, on Deanstones Lane, Queensbury, has quelled speculation about the incident which occurred yesterday (Wednesday) morning.
Mr Taylor said: "We are aware of a situation in the local area that took place yesterday morning, however this is very different to the speculation on social media.
"At no point were any students assaulted, threatened or unsafe.
"The academy has dealt with the incident appropriately and does not comment on specific issues regarding its students.
"The academy has a number of staff in the local community both before and after school to ensure students are safe and that they behave appropriately."
