A driver who could not back up claims about having insurance has been reported by police.
The motorist was driving a Toyota Yaris down Barkerend Road when West Yorkshire Police noticed it was uninsured.
The driver claimed to be insured third party through another vehicle, but failed to provide any proof of such a deal.
The car was seized by Operation Steerside’s team in Bradford East.
Meanwhile the driver was reported for having no insurance.
Operation Steerside was launched in 2016 specifically to tackle dangerous and anti-social driving in Bradford and evolved two years later into a multi-agency partnership to work proactively on illegal use of the roads.
As well as enforcement activity in Bradford, the partnership works closely with schools and youth groups and deliver educational initiatives.
