POLICE have identified and arrested a man in connection with the Ivegate stabbing that happened a month ago.
West Yorkshire Police was called to the Bradford city centre street at 5.46pm on August 25.
Officers found a 48-year-old man who had a stab wound to his neck.
The victim was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and suffered serious life-changing injuries.
But he has since been released from hospital and is recovering well, according to an update from West Yorkshire Police last Friday.
The force also released an image of a man they wanted to identify as part of the investigation on that same day.
In an update on that element, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said a man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A 17-year-old male, who cannot be named due to his age, was charged in connection with the incident on August 27.
He made his first appearance before the courts on August 29, pleading not guilty at Leeds Magistrates' Court.
The teenager was due to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court yesterday.
A 44-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender was released under investigation.
