A WOMAN who plunged 30ft into the River Wharfe to look for her dog was saved by firefighters.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue has urged people that if their pet gets into a difficult situation, they should call the fire service.
Thankfully, firefighters were also able to save the woman's dog.
The fire service: "We love our furry friends at WYFRS but, if your pet gets into a difficult situation don't attempt to save them yourself, call the fire service."
