A DELIVERY driver saw their car seized in Bradford after they were unable to provide proof of insurance.
The black Toyota Prius was stopped on Harewood Street, off Barkerend Road yesterday (Monday).
Operation Steerside officers discovered a crime had taken place and removed the vehicle from the road.
A spokesperson from the force said: "Vehicle stopped on Harewood Street in Bradford East.
"Delivery driver was unable to provide proof of insurance.
"Vehicle was seized."
Operation Steerside has been dedicated to tackling dangerous and anti-social driving in Bradford since 2016.
It evolved in 2018 into a multi-agency partnership (consisting of representatives from Bradford Council, police, education and the fire service) and has continued ever since to proactively take on illegal use of the road.
